SSL security certificates:
encrypted connections and online trust

Secure the data exchanged between your visitors' browsers and your server with strong encryption (HTTPS). We obtain trusted certificates from international certificate authorities and install them, to remove the browser "Not Secure" warning, meet payment provider requirements, and strengthen your SEO ranking and credibility in Google results.

Why you need SSL and what it gives you

Secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS)

All sensitive data in transit, including passwords, card numbers and sign-up form details, is encrypted on the network and protected against eavesdropping and data theft.

Verified website identity

A valid certificate makes sure users are connected to your real server, not to phishing domains or fake sites trying to abuse your brand name.

A prerequisite for payment providers

Without SSL, browsers show a red "Not Secure" warning that drives visitors away. On top of that, most payment providers require SSL before they will connect your site to online payments.

SSL certificate types by identity validation level

DV · Domain Validation

The fastest and most economical certificate, which only checks that you own and control the domain. Ideal for business sites, service sites, blogs and new online stores.

OV · Organization Validation

Besides the domain, the company's registration documents and legal identity are checked and verified, and the organization's official name appears in the certificate details. Suited to corporate portals, business systems and registered companies.

EV · Extended Validation

The highest and strictest level of company identity checking, offering the highest level of assurance and financial warranty. A strategic choice for banks, exchanges, holding companies and sensitive financial platforms.

SSL certificate types by subdomain structure

Single Domain

Covers one specific address (with and without www), such as yourbrand.com. Suited to sites with no separate subdomains.

Wildcard SSL

With one certificate, the main domain and an unlimited number of subdomains under it (such as shop.yourbrand.com, app.yourbrand.com and panel.yourbrand.com) are secured at once.

Multi-Domain (UCC/SAN)

Covers several completely different domain names with different extensions under one shared certificate; suited to holding companies and organizations that run several independent platforms.

SSL security certificate FAQ

How do free certificates (like Let's Encrypt) differ from business SSL?

Free certificates only encrypt the basic connection, renew on a short 90-day cycle, and take no responsibility for the organization's identity. Business (commercial) certificates verify the company's legal identity, carry a financial warranty for damages, are trusted by older browsers, and are required by some payment providers.

Which type of certificate suits our website best?

For business sites and ordinary online stores, a single-domain DV certificate does the job. If you run a system with many subdomains (such as a customer portal or a separate blog), a Wildcard certificate is the most efficient option, and when you need formal proof of your brand's identity, OV certificates are recommended.

What is the difference between a wildcard and a multi-domain certificate?

A Wildcard certificate covers one parent domain and all of its subdomains (*.yourbrand.com). A Multi-Domain certificate can bring completely different domains (such as brand.com, brand.net and brand-app.com) together under a single certificate.

Do simple sites or sites without online payments need SSL too?

Yes. All modern browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari) now flag sites without HTTPS with a red "Not Secure" warning. Google has also stated that HTTPS is an official, direct ranking signal in search.

How is SSL installed and activated on hosting or a server?

Once identity is verified and the certificate is issued, the LogaTech technical team installs the certificate, its private key and the certificate chain (CRT / CA Bundle) on your hosting, control panel or server, and turns on automatic HTTP to HTTPS redirects without any downtime.
