How do I change a page's address or SEO?

Edit the page's title, slug, parent, meta text, share image and noindex; changes are live at once.

You will have updated how a page is addressed and how it appears in search and when shared.

Before you start

You need permission to write content. These settings do not wait for Publish.

Steps

  1. On Content → Pages, press the gear (Page Settings) on the page.
  2. Change the Page Title, Parent page or Slug; the URL preview shows the result.
  3. Fill Meta title (about 60 characters) and Meta description, or press Generate with AI and review the suggestion.
  4. Choose a Social share image and, if needed, a Canonical URL.
  5. Tick Hide from search engines (noindex) to keep the page out of search and the sitemap.
  6. Save.

What you will see

"Page settings saved." The public address and SEO change immediately, even for a page whose body is unpublished changes.

If something goes wrong

  • Changing the slug or parent changes the address and all child pages' addresses, and there is no redirect from the old one. Update links you typed by hand; menu links by page update themselves.
  • The home page's slug and parent cannot be changed.
  • Blank meta fields fall back to the page title and the site logo.
