Three site-wide settings. You need booking.settings.manage to open the page, and a plan that includes appointments to save. Save is enabled only after a change.
Customer contact details
Every booking asks for a first and last name (the public form only insists on the first). Choose what else is required:
- Email required (the default): choose this if your site sends email.
- Mobile required: choose this if you have an SMS line.
- Both required.
- Either one: at least one of the two.
The same rule applies to the public form, appointments you add, and automations. If an automation does not supply a required detail the booking is skipped silently. Changing the rule never invalidates old appointments, but editing an appointment's email or mobile is checked against the current rule. When you choose Mobile required or Either one and texts are not set up, the page warns you; it does not stop you.
SMS booking notifications
Off by default and costs per message. When on, customers are texted when a booking is confirmed, before it starts, when it is cancelled or rescheduled, and when it needs payment. It requires a free-text (dedicated) SMS line under Configs → SMS; the page warns if the line cannot send free text. The wording is edited under SMS Templates, group Booking, which is hidden on Farsi installs (the defaults are used there).
Attendance review
A confirmed appointment is flagged Needs review this many hours after it ends (0 to 168, default 2; 0 turns it off). It adds a badge, a list filter and a bell alert, and never changes the status or emails the guest. Changing the number does not re-flag appointments already flagged.
