How do I get alerted when a workflow fails?

You will be told when a run fails.

Before you start

You need the write permission.

Steps

1. Open the workflow; find Failure alerts.
2. Keep Notify admins in-app on and, if you want, add comma-separated email addresses.
3. Save.

What you will see

A failed run raises a bell notification (and the emails).

If something goes wrong

• A failure that went down an on-error branch alerts nobody.
• Loop-guard blocks, plan blocks and reaped runs send no alert.
• Monitoring's dead-letter counter cannot be cleared.
