Social → Social Accounts shows a row per platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and your connected accounts under each.
Connect
A platform with credentials shows Connect Account; you are sent to the network to approve and come back with "Account connected successfully." Every account the login can manage (all your Pages, for example) is connected at once; there is no choice screen. A platform without credentials shows "Not set up yet" with, for people allowed to change site settings, an Open Configs link. The app credentials for each network are set once for the whole install under Settings › Configs › Social OAuth.
Statuses
Connected and Expired are the ones you will see. Expired is set only when a publish is refused for a bad login. Disconnected and Error exist as labels but nothing sets them.
Reconnect
There is no Reconnect button: press Connect Account again. It replaces the stored login and sets the account back to Connected.
Disconnect
Disconnect turns into a red question button; press it again to confirm. It deletes the account and, with it, every destination that used it, including pending ones and the publish history of those posts. There is no confirmation toast.
Good to know
- The Facebook and Instagram connection comes from one Meta app, but their callbacks are separate addresses to register. Whether the stored Facebook login can actually post to a Page, and whether the stored Instagram id is the business account, have not been confirmed against live Meta.
- Connect and Disconnect show to everyone who can open the page; the server refuses those without permission.
