How do I add a mailbox?

You will have an address whose new mail appears in the inbox.

Before you start

You need the credentials permission and a plan with inbox credentials, and the IMAP details from your mail host.

Steps

1. Open Settings → Mailboxes and press Add Mailbox.
2. Enter the address, display name and department.
3. Choose the outbound SMTP config and reply format.
4. Fill IMAP host, port, TLS, username and password, and keep Enabled on.
5. Save, then press Test IMAP.

What you will see

"IMAP OK". New mail is fetched every minute; Fetch now pulls immediately ("Fetched N").

If something goes wrong

• Mail already in the mailbox is not imported.
• A private-network mail server is refused.
• A duplicate address fails with a database error.
• Mail addressed elsewhere on a shared account is skipped.
