How do I add modules and lessons?

You will have course content with the access rules you want.

Before you start

Open the course with the editor's Modules tab.

Steps

1. Press Add Module and name it.
2. Press Add Lesson; use Edit in Studio to write it.
3. Press Access & scheduling to choose the content type, an unlock date, unlock N days after enrollment, a prerequisite lesson, or free preview.
4. Reorder with the arrows or drag.

What you will see

"Lesson settings saved". Students see locked lessons with the reason.

If something goes wrong

• A module with learner progress, graded work or discussion threads cannot be deleted.
• A prerequisite chain longer than two lessons is not checked for loops.
• Pick a quiz or assignment type in Access & scheduling; the lesson editor holds the questions.
