How do I delete a submission or a form?

You will have removed answers or a form permanently.

Before you start

You need the delete-forms permission. Neither can be undone and there is no trash.

Steps

1. For one submission, open Submissions and press the trash icon on its row, then confirm.
2. For a form, press Delete on the Forms list and confirm.

What you will see

The submission and its uploaded files are removed at once. Deleting a form also removes its fields and all its submissions.

If something goes wrong

• Pages that embed a deleted form show "Form unavailable".
• Staff who can view submissions see the trash icon even without the delete permission; the click is refused.
• Erasing a person through GDPR tools blanks their submissions instead of removing the rows.
