You will have shipping costs buyers see at checkout.
Before you start
You need permission to manage shipping. For per-class costs, create the Shipping classes first and assign them to products.
Steps
- Open Store → Tax & Shipping and the Shipping zones tab.
- Add a zone: a Zone name and its regions (country, postcode or province; for Iran, all of Iran or chosen provinces). Leave the regions empty for a catch-all.
- Select the zone and add a method: choose the Method type and give it a Method title.
- Set the cost: Base cost and optional class costs for Flat rate; Minimum order for free shipping for Free shipping (0 is always free).
- Keep Enabled on.
What you will see
Checkout lists the zone's methods once an address is entered. The buyer's choice is honoured; the default is a qualifying free method, else the first.
If something goes wrong
- A destination that matches no zone ships free and the order still goes through. Add a catch-all zone as your baseline.
- If a zone has methods but none apply (for example only free-above-minimum), the order is refused with a message to add more to the cart.
- The page cannot reorder zones or methods, and a method's type cannot change after creation.
- A shipping class cannot be deleted while products use it.
