You need inventory.settings.read to open the page and inventory.settings.write (and a plan that includes inventory writes) to save.
Costing Strategy
FIFO (oldest layer first) or LIFO (newest first). The choice is forward-only: past movements keep their cost. A change asks for confirmation and is audited. It applies to manual outbound adjustments, transfers and store-order shipments alike. Valuation and Aging sum remaining layers, so they do not depend on the choice.
Identifier patterns
SKU Pattern (default ITM-{YYYY}{MM}{DD}-{seq:4}) is used when an item is created without a SKU. PO Number Pattern (default PO-{YYYY}-{seq:4}) numbers purchase orders. Tokens: {seq} exactly once ({seq:4} pads), {YYYY} {YY} {MM} {DD} and the Jalali {jYYYY} {jYY} {jMM} {jDD}, not mixed. A date token makes the series restart when the date changes. Existing SKUs and numbers do not change.
Defaults
- Default Unit of Measure: used when an item is created without a unit through quick-create.
- Default Reorder Point: given to newly created items when none is entered (0 means none).
The old Default Warehouse setting did nothing and has been removed.
Units of Measure
The catalog behind every unit picker: add a name or remove it with ×. Removing a unit does not change items that use it.
Low-Stock Notifications
- In-app notifications (on by default): a bell alert to all admins.
- Email Recipients: one address per line; an email per recipient, limited to one per item, warehouse and kind per 24 hours, in English only.
- Webhook URL: a post with the same limit.
Reorder Automation
Enable reorder automation site-wide (off by default). With it on, items that also have their own Auto tick get a draft purchase order suggested when stock runs low. Drafts are only drafts: nothing is sent.
