Pages

The page list, page settings and URL paths, the homepage rule, the Page Builder (Studio) and its tools, versions and checkpoints, and the Trash.

The list

Search matches title or slug and applies when you press Search; filters are Status (All, Published, Draft, Scheduled; there is no Archived option) and an updated-date range. 10 per page. Columns show the full path, status (Scheduled only for a published page with a future date), created and updated. Tabs: Active and Trash.

Row actions: View (live pages), Edit (opens the Studio), Page Settings, Duplicate and Delete. These show for everyone; without the permission you get an error. Export and Delete Selected work on the ticked pages of the current list page.

New Page

New Page takes a title, a Parent page (optional) and a slug. Create & open builder makes a draft and opens the Studio.

Addresses

A page's address is its parent's path plus its slug. The slug is one segment: no /, \, ?, # or spaces. Two pages cannot share a full path, but the same slug under different parents is fine; Trash frees the path, while draft and archived pages keep it. Changing a slug or parent changes the public address at once and updates every child; there is no redirect from the old address. Menu links by page follow the change, typed URLs do not.

The homepage is the page with the slug home. It must be a root page, its slug cannot change and it cannot be deleted. It is normally created when you apply a theme.

Page Settings

Title, parent, slug, Meta title (about 60 characters), Meta description, Social share image (falls back to the logo), Canonical URL and Hide from search engines (noindex), which also removes the page from the sitemap. These save and go live immediately; they do not wait for Publish. A Generate with AI helper fills meta text for review.

The Page Builder (Studio)

Edit opens the full-screen Studio. Layers on the left, the canvas in the middle, Add element and the Inspector (Content, Style, Advanced) on the right. Devices: Desktop, Tablet, Mobile (more can be switched on in Site Settings); a style set on a device overrides only that device and otherwise inherits Desktop.

  • Save is manual (no autosave) and the browser warns about unsaved changes; Publish saves first, then makes the page live. A save conflict is retried silently, so the last write wins.
  • Elements: Container, Heading, Text, Image, Button, Icon, List, Video, Gallery, Icon Box, Call to Action, Testimonial, Pricing, Accordion, Tabs, Counter, Chart, Table, plus plugin widgets (store, forms, blog, courses, booking). Prebuilt Sections (Hero, Features, Call to action, Pricing, Stats, FAQ) insert in one click. Custom HTML and embeds need a premium plan and are locked during the free trial.
  • Table: in Content, Edit table opens the grid. Type in a cell (Ctrl+B, Ctrl+I, a link, a coloured Badge; Enter goes to the next row), add, move and delete rows and columns, and set each column's alignment, monospace and minimum width. A block copied from Excel or Google Sheets fills the grid from the cell you paste it into; Paste from spreadsheet takes CSV or TSV and either replaces the table or adds rows. Give a long-text column a minimum width, or on a phone it wraps to one word per line. On phones a table scrolls sideways (the first column can stay pinned) or is stacked, each row as a card.
  • Sizes: a width or height field takes px, %, vh, vw, rem, em or Custom (any CSS value, such as auto or calc(100% - 40px)). Size an Image in Style → Size, per device; its Height is the image's real height. An older image that still has a Width or Height in Content shows it there, with a note, until you clear it. The heights of Google Maps, Embed, HTML and Spacer take the same units.
  • Menu links: a Menu element's own links (not a saved menu) can point at a page, post, category, product or brand, which follows the item if its address changes; picking one names the link after it.
  • Social icons: each link is a plain web address with Open in and nofollow.
  • Undo/Redo keep 100 steps until you reload. Right-click for duplicate, copy/paste style, label and pattern actions. SEO and Accessibility badges warn about no H1, several H1s and images without alt text.
  • Import (More actions) replaces the whole page from pasted JSON, as one undo step, and Download page.json exports it.

Versions

Every Save, Publish and version restore keeps a revision; the newest 30 are kept. More actions → Snapshots lists them with Restore this version (a plan feature). You can also Save checkpoint under a name; checkpoints are never pruned. Restoring a checkpoint overwrites the draft without keeping a backup of it, so save a checkpoint first.

Duplicate, Trash, Restore

Duplicate makes a draft "X (Copy)" with a -copy slug, copying content and SEO but not revisions or review state. Delete moves to Trash (the homepage is refused); the page and its children stop being served. Restore needs the delete permission and fails if the path was taken; Delete permanently needs the purge permission, hands the page's children to its parent and removes its revisions. There is no bulk purge.

What visitors get

A published page whose date has passed and that is not in Trash. Otherwise "Page not found or not yet published." The public copy is cached for about two minutes.
