Reports

The eight reports, the Generate button, what drafts, reversals and closing entries do, and exports.

Accounting → Financial Reports (page title "Reports") needs the reports permission and a plan with reports.

The tabs

Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance (6-column), General Ledger, Cash Flow, VAT Return, Sub-ledger Reconciliation. Choose From and To, then press Generate Report; results do not refresh when you change the dates, so the heading can show new dates over old data.

What counts

Posted and reversed entries (so a reversal cancels its original); never drafts. Profit & Loss leaves out the year-closing entry; the trial balance, ledger and balance sheet include it. The balance sheet adds a computed Current Year Earnings line for open years; for a date inside an already closed year it may show "does not balance".

Cash Flow is the direct method, grouped by source. VAT is output-side only. Sub-ledger Reconciliation compares receivables, payables and inventory with their sub-ledgers; a row that cannot be read shows 0 / 0 / Unmatched.

Exports

CSV for all eight; PDF only for Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
