How do I add fields and make them required?

You will have a form with the questions you need.

Before you start

Open the form in the Studio from the Forms list.

Steps

1. Drag a field type onto the canvas, or click it.
2. Select the field and set its Label, Placeholder and Helper text.
3. Tick Required if it must be answered.
4. For text-like fields set Min length, Max length or a Pattern; for Dropdown, Radio and Checkboxes edit the options with Add option.
5. Press Save.

What you will see

The public form shows the fields in canvas order. A required field shows "This field is required." when left empty.

If something goes wrong

• Email and number fields are not checked for format by the server, so use a Pattern if it matters.
• Do not change a Field key after submissions exist; old answers disappear from the table.
• There are no number or date range settings.
