Store Settings

Catalog mode, product presentation and feeds, the storefront grid and filters, the order number format, SMS, and where payment gateways and bank transfer are set.

You need ecommerce.settings.read to open the page and ecommerce.settings.write to save. The Save button sends only what you changed.

Sections

  • Catalog Mode: hides prices and Add to Cart (each separately), or the whole buy box, and sets the button label. It changes what the storefront shows; do not rely on it as a server-side block.
  • Product Presentation: the default layout (Standard or Showcase) and a showcase credit. A product can override the layout. Showcase gallery sets the gallery at the top of showcase product pages: its Width (centred, content width, or full width edge to edge), its Frame shape (square to 21:9 panorama) and the Image fit (fill the frame and crop the edges, or show the whole image). A wide or full gallery suits a landscape frame, and is kept low enough for the product title to show without scrolling.
  • Product feeds: Torob (on by default, IRR sites only) and Google Merchant Center (off by default). Turning one off removes its feed and tags.
  • Products Grid (including Show brand on product cards, off by default), Categories (show empty ones) and Storefront Sidebar Filters (including Show brands filter, on by default).
  • General: the order number format, built from {seq} and date parts (default ORD-{YYYY}-{seq:4}), Restart numbering (never, yearly, monthly) and Start numbering at. Numbers already issued do not change.
  • Reviews: a note only; links are always refused.
  • SMS Order Notifications: off by default and costs per text; confirmed, shipped and cancelled orders. It needs a free-text SMS line and a phone number on the order. Wording is edited under SMS Templates (hidden on Farsi installs).

Payments live elsewhere

Gateways and bank transfer are set under Site Settings → Payments, not here:

  • Stripe (not shown in Iran), ZarinPal and Saman (SEP). Enabling needs the credentials and a healthy connection check, else it is saved but not enabled. ZarinPal and Saman settle in IRR.
  • Several gateways can be enabled together; at checkout the most recently updated enabled one is used.
  • Bank transfer needs instructions to be switched on, and can require a tracking code and/or a receipt. It is used by store checkout, bookings and plan subscriptions.

Not settings

Allow guest checkout and Track inventory were removed: neither did anything. Guests can always check out with an email or mobile number, and stock tracking is per product.
