How do I pin, lock or delete a post?

You will have changed how a post shows or whether it can be answered.

Before you start

You need the moderate permission and a plan with community moderation.

Steps

1. Open Community → Posts and find the post with the filters.
2. Press Pin, Lock or Delete on its row (Delete asks to confirm).
3. Switch Lifecycle to In trash to restore a deleted post or delete it permanently.

What you will see

A pinned post is first in its space; a locked post refuses new comments; a deleted post vanishes for visitors.

If something goes wrong

• Only 100 posts per view are loaded, so use the filters.
• On a locked post the comment box is still shown and the member gets "This post is locked" when sending.
• You cannot see or remove an individual comment; delete the post instead.
• Permanent deletion works only from the trash.
