At the end your WooCommerce products are in this store with their categories, brands, attributes, variations and photos.
Before you start
You need permission to edit products and categories. Create the tax and shipping classes your WooCommerce store uses first (Tax & shipping): the import matches them but never creates them.
Steps
- In WordPress, open Products → All products and press Export.
- Export all columns, all product types and all categories, tick Export custom meta if it is there, and press Generate CSV.
- Here, open Products and press Import from WooCommerce.
- Press Choose the CSV file and pick the file WooCommerce saved.
- Check Your WooCommerce store's address. On a Rial store, choose whether Prices in the file are in Toman or Rial.
- Choose New products are (As in WooCommerce or All drafts), then press Update the preview.
- Read the preview: the counts, what will be created, and the notes.
- Press Start the import.
What you will see
A progress count while products come in, then The products are in with how many were created, updated and left alone. Photos keep downloading after that. The counts of photos waiting, fetched and failed update on the same page, which you can leave.
If something goes wrong
- Every price is ten times off: the Toman or Rial answer was wrong. Import the same file again with the right answer and Products imported before: Update from the file.
- Photos failed because the old site is gone or its domain now points here: use Fetch again, from this address, or upload a ZIP of the old site's
wp-content/uploadsfolder. - Every product in the file was imported before: the file was imported already. Choose Update from the file to update the products from it.
