You will have the few texts that live in store settings, not on a product, shown in each language.
Before you start
The site needs a second language, and you need Translate Catalogue or the permission to change store settings.
Steps
- Open Store → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom to Store texts in other languages.
- Pick the language and fill in: Add-to-cart button label (catalog mode), Showcase credit: name and Showcase credit: note, under each original.
- Save the language.
What you will see
In catalog mode the button shows the translated label to a shopper in that language, and a showcase product page shows the translated credit. An empty field uses the original.
If something goes wrong
- The card is hidden when the site has one language or you may not translate.
- The seller's name and address on invoices are not here: translate those under Site Settings → Branding. Invoices and packing slips print them in the order's language.
- Order emails, SMS and PDFs use the language recorded on the order, not your admin language.
