You will have draft purchase orders for the items that are running low.
Before you start
Items need a Default Supplier, a Reorder Point and a Reorder Qty. Generating needs the purchase-order permission and plan.
Steps
- Open Inventory → Reorder. Each card is a supplier, with its items at or below their reorder point.
- Tick the rows you want, or press Select all (it picks rows that have a supplier).
- Press Generate Draft POs.
- Read the Last Run panel, then open Purchase Orders to review, edit and send the drafts.
What you will see
For each supplier and warehouse, a draft PO with the item at its Reorder Qty and current Cost. If a draft already exists for that pair, the item is added to it.
If something goes wrong
- Rows under "— No default supplier —" cannot be ticked. Set a Default Supplier on the item.
- Pressing Generate twice for the same row increases the quantity by another Reorder Qty.
- Open sent orders are not counted, so an item may be suggested while an order is on its way.
- A Reorder Qty of 0 produces a quantity of 1.
- For fully automatic drafts, switch on reorder automation in Settings and tick Auto on the item.
