How do I create a campaign?

You will have a draft campaign with email content.

Before you start

You need the campaigns write permission and a plan that includes it. Create a segment first if you want a narrower audience.

Steps

1. Open Marketing → Campaigns and press New Campaign.
2. Fill Campaign name and Email subject, choose a Segment (blank is everyone) and switch the audience groups you want.
3. Press save; the Email Studio opens.
4. Build the message and save. Use {{firstName}} and {{email}} to personalise.

What you will see

"Campaign created. Add its email content in the Studio before sending." The campaign appears as a draft.

If something goes wrong

• "Reaches N people" is an estimate that includes suppressed and email-less people.
• A campaign without email content cannot be sent.
• Only drafts can be edited; cancel the schedule first to change a scheduled one.
