How do I set the logo, favicon and brand colours?

Choose the site's logo and favicon and set its brand and secondary colours, for light and dark mode.

You will have set the images and colours that identify the site.

Before you start

You need permission to edit content (the page builder), and the content feature must be in your plan; without it the form is disabled and a lock banner shows. Upload the images to the media library first if they are not there yet.

Steps

  1. Open Site Settings and choose Branding.
  2. Under Logo, press Choose and pick the image.
  3. Under Favicon, press Choose and pick a square image.
  4. Set the brand (accent) colour and the secondary colour. Use the light/dark switch to set each colour for both modes.
  5. Press Save Branding.

What you will see

The logo and favicon appear on the site and in the overview card, and the colours are used by the theme. The default brand colour is #4361EE and the default secondary colour is #7c3aed; each has a reset link.

If something goes wrong

  • A favicon that cannot be made square is refused.
  • A colour that is not valid is dropped when you save instead of showing an error. If a colour is missing afterwards, enter it again.
  • The Save button can look available when you lack permission; the server then refuses. Check your role.
