How do I set up a network so it can connect?

You will have a platform that shows Connect Account.

Before you start

You need permission to manage site settings, and an app registered with the network (Meta, LinkedIn or X).

Steps

1. On Social Accounts press Open Configs next to the platform (or open Settings › Configs › Social OAuth).
2. Enter the app ID and secret.
3. In the network's developer console register the callback <your site>/api/social/oauth/<platform>/callback. Facebook and Instagram are two separate callbacks sharing one Meta app.
4. Come back and press Connect Account.

What you will see

The platform shows Connect Account instead of "Not set up yet".

If something goes wrong

• The credentials belong to the install, not to one person.
• Without the site's public address configured the media for Instagram cannot be resolved.
• LinkedIn company pages appear only if the app was granted organisation access.
