Text the AI wrote that nobody has approved yet. Visitors see it, but search engines do not until it is marked reviewed.
What is listed
One row per item and language, from pages, headers and footers, blog posts, the brand profile, products and the rest of the catalogue, the store's own texts, courses and lessons, booking calendars and forms. The columns are Item, Type, Language and Texts (how many are waiting).
What you can do
- Filter by language (All languages) and by type (All content).
- Open takes you to the item's own editor (the page's translation editor, the post, the product's Languages tab and so on) to read and fix the text.
- Mark reviewed approves that item's language.
- Mark all languages approves every language of the item at once.
- The page says "Marked as reviewed" when it worked, and "Nothing to review" with "Every AI translation has been reviewed" when the list is empty.
What approving does
It does not change the text; it records that a person accepted it. Until then the language is shown to visitors but kept out of search engines: the page is noindex, left out of the language links and the sitemap. After approval it is treated like any translation. Editing a machine text by hand makes it a person's text. Running Translate with AI again replaces a machine text only if its original changed, and never replaces a person's.
Good to know
- Lessons are live as soon as they are translated (a lesson has no draft). They are not indexed by search engines anyway.
- Each kind shows its oldest 200 items at a time; as you approve, the rest appear.
- Viewing needs View Translations. Approving needs Edit Translations, which does not let you change what is on the page.
- A site that wants AI text indexed at once can turn on Index machine translations (Site Settings → Language & Format). Everything then counts as published.
